He is apprehensive on taking on a new partner after losing his previous partner to a promotion within the Aberrant Crimes Unit.

Det. Beck Mercury: A transfer from the Middletown Police Department, Beck spends his days trying to make sense of his new partner, Det. Adam Murdough. His past is a cloudy one, and only he and Captain Jake Bankers know the whole story as to why he’s now a part of Dayton’s Aberrant Crimes Unit.
