I can’t help but love Phil Noto’s work on this cover for G.I. Joe: Scarlett: Declassified One-Shot for Devil’s Due Publishing in 2006.
Phil Noto has a way of making borders, detail, and colors pop in his pieces that make his characters show up on the page in such a way as if they’re looking at you instead of you looking at them.
Great work, Mr. Noto.
