My Favorite Covers: Star Wars Tales #9 (2001)

Don’t worry, the adventures of “Mercury & The Murd,” “Exo-1 & The Rock Solid Steelbots,” and “Agents of C.O.L.T.” will return next week. I know that the holidays have most of you beyond busy right now, so enjoy taking a look at some of my favorite Comic Book covers before you wrap gifts.
Now, as you look at this cover you’re probably thinking there isn’t much to it at all. It’s just a generic boxing event poster serving as a cover for “Star Wars Tales” issue 9 for Dark Horse Comics.
It may seem generic, but what I love about this cover is the fact that they’re trying to hype you up for something many of us have thought of or even talked about: “If Darth Vader fought Darth Maul, who would win?”
The cover alone peaked my curiosity, I bought the book and it was a fun read.
