PKD Media Spotlight Presents: Katie Cook
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I present to you…Katie Cook!
Katie’s work has been featured on Star Wars: The Clone Wars webcomic, Dark Horse Presents, and sketchards for Rittenhouse, Upper Deck, & Topps.
I was completely floored by her Mercury & The Murd Sketch (see above). We’ve had some quality artists work on Mercury & The Murd, and I consider us here at PKD Media lucky to have Katie’s rendition of our buddy-cop duo for the world to see.
I had my first opportunity to meet Katie Cook at the 2008 Pittsburgh Comicon while she was sketching at the Comic Geek Speak booth. She’s an absolute delight to talk to, and her artistic style is one of my faves. I have a Lando Calrissian sketch that she did for me which I hope to post on our site soon.
