I was the recipient of the Comic Geek Speak Super Show 2010 Lem Fasnacht “Spirit of Comics” Award this weekend for spreading the love of comics to the people. It was announced during their live recording towards the end of the show on Saturday.

It’s quite the honor, and I had no idea that I was even a nominee. I am extremely thankful and humbled by this. It’s the equivalent of receiving an Eisner award to me. Thank you to Bryan, Peter, Adam, Matt, Jamie, Shane, Kevin, and Pants of Comic Geek Speak for this award. If it wasn’t for them I probably wouldn’t be reading or making comics right now. Thank you, gents.

I guess that means I need to keep writing these comics, huh? LOL.

But I know I didn’t earn this award on my own; Chad Cicconi, Andrew Charipar, Daniel Logan, Dave Dwonch, Jim Miller, Julian Lytle, 3!LL Blankenship, Andy Jewett, Scott Bradley, Harold Jennett, Dean Stahl, Martheus Wade, Flint Lockjaw, Dave Watcher, Donny Salvo, Jon Carroll, Jason Grice, Adam Umak, etc. Without their contributions, there would be no PKD Comics, Podcasts, and PKD Media.

I’ll do my best to keep the spirit of comics flowing. Word.
