The PKD Convention Tour Rolls On!!!! Stop #3: The Summit City Comic Con (May 22nd)

The PKD Media Convention Tour Continues with our next stop at the Summit City Con in Ft. Wayne! smile.gif

The convention is a new venue, founded by The Merkler’s & Zack Kruse of Discount Comic Book Service. It runs from 10am-6pm.

There will be a slew of popular and upcoming artists/creators (Mike Norton, Ryan Stegman, Jim Rugg, Terry Huddleston, Dave Wachter, Steve Bryant, Robert Atkins, Tim Seeley, Katie Cook, Uko Smith, etc,) comic book vendors and so much more!

Stan Leeroy (yours truly) will be representing PKD Media with copies of “Mercury & The Murd-Volume 1: Collateral Damages,” “Agents of C.O.L.T.-Volume 1: Recipe For Destruction,” “Wasted Wonderland” and various other goodies as well.

I’ll also be a part of the Indie Comics/Self-Publishing Panel at Summit City Con as well! The panel starts at 1pm.

Price of admission for the show is $10. Kids under 12 receive free admission with a paid adult.

The PKD Convention Tour Rolls On!!!! Stop #4: Heroes Con (June 4th-6th)

The PKD Media Convention Tour Continues with our next stop at the Heroes Con in Charlotte, NC!

Heroes Con has been a booming comics convention for those who are truly fans of the artistic spectrum of comics as a whole. With plenty of big-name & up and coming artists, small press/indie comics stalwarts, big name comic companies and comics vendors galore, Heroes Con has a little something for everybody.

PKD Media will have a strong presence at the show as artists Chad Cicconi (Mercury & The Murd, Baby Boomers) and Andrew Charipar (Tales From The Cornerstone, Agents of C.O.L.T) will be there doing comissions and sketches, and Stan Leeroy (yours truly) will be representing PKD Media with copies of “Mercury & The Murd-Volume 1: Collateral Damages,” “Agents of C.O.L.T.-Volume 1: Recipe For Destruction,” “Wasted Wonderland” and various other goodies as well, including free sneak preview copies of our upcoming supehero “one-shot” comic called “Mega Heroes GO!” Supplies are limited!

Also, “Gang From The Store” creator/artist Luke Foster will be stopping by the booth for an hour or two this weekend as well.

We’ve been told that we’re located at Booth 828, so if you’re coming to the show, check us out!

Price of admission for a one-day pass is $15  Kids under 12 receive free admission.

Shawn and Jon welcome Hollywood Producer Jeff Katz to the show as he discusses his latest project called “Wrestling Revolution” and his connection with film, comics, wrestling, and how he became one of the up and coming producers in the business. Later in the show, Shawn and Donny go on various tangents as they discuss some comics and TPB’s, cartoons, Donny’s addiction to the latest Mortal Kombat game, Neptune Perkins, and the reason behind why the Legion of Doom would ever allow Solomon Grundy or Bizzaro to make a plan of attack against the Superfriends. Enjoy.
